Hike with State Parks’ Holly Taylor

10:00 AM Eastern, Rugby Visitor Centre

Every third Saturday of the month, the Friends of the Rugby State Natural area host a guided hike. These moderate hikes range from 1.5 to 3 miles long. Wear sturdy shoes, bring water and snacks, and watch the weather. This week’s special guest leader is Holly Taylor, assistant state naturalist with Tennessee State Parks.

RSNA boasts beautiful slopes and loops underneath towering umbrella magnolia and hemlock. By December, hiking weather is perfect with no bugs but plenty of views through the leafless trees.

We meet at 10:00 AM Eastern in front of the Historic Rugby Visitor Centre.
