Discover the beauty of painting sunflowers in watercolor. With their wonderful shape, abundance of petals and big centers they provide an ideal painting subject. Along with painting wet on wet we will explore some fun texture techniques and creative compositions. Demos along with individual help will encourage everyone in their own artistic expression.

About your host: Martha Kisling’s lifelong love of art and math led her to degrees in Architecture & Engineering and then work for an aerospace company. While enjoying art as a hobby she began painting in watercolor and fell in love with the exciting and spontaneous medium. Martha, of Rockwood, TN, has taught painting classes and workshops for over twenty years. She enjoys sharing her personal discoveries in watercolor, mixed media and collage while encouraging students to develop their own artistic expression.
