Sorry, but this event has SOLD OUT. Festive Follies, presented by The Actors Co-Op, New Year’s Eve in Rugby. Rebecca Johnson Theatre, Historic Rugby Visitor Centre, 1331 Rugby Parkway. 7 p.m. Dec. 31

This production will evoke both Hollywood glamour and the historical variety show, splendid selection of songs, acts, and stories. The talented group — most out of Knoxville at one point — has a treat in store. So many songs! You won’t want to miss it. We are bringing Hollywood’s Golden Age classics to the stage, including “Sisters,” “What Are You Doing New Year’s?” and adding reading, story telling & comedic kindheartedness in folly style. Benefits both Historic Rugby, Inc. and The Actors Co-op musicians’ gas fund. This will be an all ages show, but you know we can’t avoid the occasional innuendo amidst our raucous good fun.

Tickets ($20 per person) are limited and may sell out as the space is finite. At least 58 sold so far out of a limit of 75. Available only at this link, so act soon to reserve here:

Note that audience members will be required to be masked for pandemic safety’s sake. (If you forget, masks will be available at the door.) For everyone’s peace of mind, cast members will be taking Covid tests 48 hours before the performance.
