Help celebrate 140 years since Rugby’s founding in 1880, our 140th Anniversary! The occasion will be marked at 2 p.m. Eastern/1 Central on the lawn of the Visitor Centre (and will also be held virtually on Facebook Live).
In person, you’ll find local artists & crafters selling and demonstrating their crafts. Food will be provided by local food vendors.
Music — bluegrass, gospel & country — will come from Victory Bluegrass, Jim Goad & the Band, and more. It’s FREE admission. Questions? Call us at 423-628-2441.
ALSO we’ll be auctioning the unique quilt below by “silent bid.” It hangs in The Gallery at Rugby, so drop by to see it and make an offer on Thursdays through Sundays, 11-4 Eastern. Or call Freeman at 423-628-2991 to bid (email@example.com). Last chance will be Oct. 10, 5 p.m. Eastern. It was created by Historic Rugby supporter and quilter Jonell Hester. Thank you, Jonell! (Dimensions: 47 by 66 inches. Design: Modified Ohio Star.)
