Visit Historic Rugby for a festive, old fashioned Victorian Christmas featuring period carolers, Christmas stories, historic buildings and virtual private home tours, plus a Community Christmas Tree all on December 5 or 12 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern.  Be sure to greet Father Christmas as he makes his way through the village bringing joy to all.

There will be musicians, storytellers, and vendors selling arts, crafts and food. Rugby’s historic buildings will be twinkling with candlelight & decorated as in Christmases past. A new video showing other Historic Rugby buildings and private homes (some pictured below) will be presented in the Rebecca Johnson Theatre.

Do some of your Christmas shopping at our Commissary or one of the shops in the village. Don’t miss out on finding some unique, one-of-a-kind items you won’t be able to find anywhere else!  For tickets ($20), please click here: https://historic-rugby-inc-3.square.site/

Rugby’s historic buildings such as the Hughes Public Library, Kingstone Lisle, and the Rugby Schoolhouse will be festively decorated like Christmases past. Christ Church Episcopal will NOT be having Christmas services this year on account of Covid 19 and its limited interior space. A tree-lighting ceremony near the Gazebo will be held Dec. 5 at 5:30 p.m. Eastern. Food trucks will be present both days, and hot wassail & cookies will also be served.
