Rugby is a Victorian English village, established in 1880, on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee. Historic Rugby offers original, historical buildings, lodging , shops and dining. What better place could there be for a British Car Show?

Besides the car show other activities for Registrants include a club led drive around the beautiful countryside, a National Parks Service Ranger led hike, A tea Setting contest for you to judge and a free abreviated tour of some of Historic Rugby’s buildings.

The car show is open to all British marques, including those that may have been bought out by continental companies (new Mini’s are welcome). Judging is by popular vote and trophies are awarded.

Tea Table Setting Contest

Held in Madame Hughes’ Home, Uffington House
Tea and Refreshments will be served

You do not have to be present to win the Table Setting Contest.
Contest open free to visitors.
Many contestants will use beautiful china, elegant linens, and amazing ingenuity to create the “perfect” place setting, and prizes going to the winners. Winner will be chosen by peoples choice.
Here’s how the contest works: Each contestant does one full place setting with a salad plate, teacup and saucer, water glass, napkin, and silver, along with a teapot. Chargers, placemats, and table runners are also allowed. Contestants can create their own centerpieces. Creativity is encouraged, within the confines of traditional place setting etiquette.
