Join one of our favorite basket-making instructors, Beth Hester of Scottsville, KY, to create one that’s perfect for the farmer’s market and other shopping adventures. It’s a generously sized 13-by-5 inches at the base and 13 inches tall (not including the handles). The March 28 class runs 9-4 Eastern time.
Students learn shaping techniques and how to create perfect rims and attach leather handles. Beth gives special gratitude to Lynne Ferguson, artist in residents at the Kentucky Museum, for her inspiration for this workshop.
Workshop size is between 5 and 12 students. The fee of $105 includes materials, pattern, instruction, and use of tools. Registration deadline is March 7. But earlier registrations ensure a place since class size is limited! Call Sue at 423-628-2441 or email email@example.com to register or learn more.
