National Public Lands Day Hike with State Parks’ Holly Taylor

SATURDAY | Sept. 26
10:00 AM Eastern, Rugby Visitor Centre

Help celebrate National Public Lands Day with a guided hike & a stewardship project (details coming). This moderate hike ranges from 1.5 to 3 miles long. Wear sturdy shoes, bring water and snacks, and watch the weather. This week’s special guest leader is Holly Taylor, assistant state naturalist with Tennessee State Parks.

RSNA boasts beautiful slopes and loops underneath towering umbrella magnolia and hemlock. By December, hiking weather is perfect with no bugs but plenty of views through the leafless trees.

We meet at 10:00 AM Eastern in front of the Historic Rugby Visitor Centre.
