Historic Rugby has developed several homesite areas in the National Register Historic District based on the 1880 town plan, starting with 32 lots in Beacon Hill and extending to Beacon Hill II and Boyle Woods with its larger lots.

So far, over 21 design approved homes have been built according to design easements that lot owners follow to ensure homes are historically compatible with the original Victorian homes and buildings that survive today from the 1880’s. Historic Rugby’s Design Review Committee oversees all projects.
