Thanks to the efforts of Charlie Bunnell, The Plateau British Car Club, Jim Watson, Julian Bankston, Boyd Mitchell & HRI staff, the British Motorcar and Motorbike Show, “The Return of the British” , held on Saturday, August 23 was a great success. More than forty vehicles were displayed and ranged from Jaguars, Austin-Healeys, Triumphs, to MGs, and a Morris. In addition several British motorbikes were also displayed. The spectators enjoyed the cars and cycles, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle, as well as food from the Harrow Road Café and vendors such as Nick’s Italian Ice from Jamestown and Larry Edmundson’s cast iron cobblers. The event was both fun and profitable!! Thanks to all.
