Harvest Gala 2014 on Saturday, Nov. 9, promises to be a festive way to enjoy autumn and help two rural non-profit organizations at the same time. The fund-raising gala in the heart of Rugby includes cocktail hour, a 3-course meal, live entertainment from Slow Blind Hill, as well as silent and live auctions.
Auction treats will include a handmade quilt crafted by the Rugby Quilting Guild, as well as a framed photographic print by our neighbor and supporter, Senator Howard Baker. Many more treats and surprises are certain.
This second annual event benefits both Historic Rugby Inc. and the Morgan-Scott Project, providing solutions for people in peril and poverty in Morgan and Scott counties, “A Hand Up – Not a Handout.”
Tickets are $150 per person or $1,000 for an 8-person table.
Event sponsors are First National Bank of Oneida, John and Kathleen Hicks, Marlee Mitchell, Michael and Denni Green, Kimberly Stagg and Kathy Cameron. Dress is semi-formal for this evening of fun for two good causes!
