The last opportunity to experience Ghostly Gathering is this Friday night, October 31st! Our visitors had a blast at the event on the 25th- so, if you haven’t done so, make your reservations now and come see why they say they had such a “great time”!

Celebrate Halloween Rugby style at Historic Rugby’s Annual Ghostly Gathering events on October 25 and October 31 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy an evening filled with ghost stories, a bonfire, and visits from some of Rugby’s most prominent haunts!

The evening will begin with a self-guided tour of historic buildings to visit with Rugbeians from the past and encounter some of Rugby’s ghosts. This year, students from Oneida High School will portray witches and “lost souls” of Rugby.

The traditional Ghostly Gathering dinner will follow at Uffington House. Then guests will follow a lantern lit path to the Tabard Inn field for the bonfire, hot cider, and stories!

Storytellers for this event come from the Tale Tellers of East Tennessee State University. On October 25, ghost stories will be told by Libby Tipton and Chelise Fox and on October 31, by faculty member Delanna Reed.

Dress up if you like, and be sure to bring a flashlight and your walking shoes for this highlight of the Halloween season!

Tickets for the event including the Uffington House dinner are $20 for adults/ $15 for children. If you prefer to eat at the Cafe, tickets for the self-guided tour and storytelling only are $15 for adults/$10 for children.

This event is open to all ages, but may not be suitable for younger children.  Reservations are required. For more information or to make reservations, please call 423-628-2441, or email
