An Evening Of Fun and Festivities. For Two Great Causes.

On November 4, Historic Rugby will host our annual Gala, which raises funds for Historic Rugby and the Morgan-Scott Project, which helps needy families throughout our region. The Gala is a highlight of the year in Historic Rugby.

This year’s Gala will feature the theme of “The Great Exhibition,” a tribute to the Great Exhibition of 1851 in London, which featured the magnificent Crystal Place and was recognized as the very first World’s Fair. There will be decorations celebrating the Exhibition and countries from around the world, a gourmet meal, live music, and other fun. Costumes representing the Victorian Era or The Great Exhibition are encouraged.

One of the most anticipated events at the Gala is the live auction–especially when it comes to handcrafted quilts. These quilts, painstakingly created over the course of the year by Historic Rugby residents, are true works of art, and auction prices can go into the thousands.
