Hike with State Parks’ Katie Wisniewski

SATURDAY | NOV. 16
10:00 AM Eastern, Rugby Visitor Centre

Every third Saturday of the month, the Friends of the Rugby State Natural area host a guided hike. These moderate hikes range from 1.5 to 3 miles long. Wear sturdy shoes, bring water and snacks, and watch the weather. This week’s special guest leader is Katie Wisniewski, with Tennessee State Parks.

RSNA boasts beautiful slopes and loops underneath towering umbrella magnolia and hemlock. By November, cooler weather makes hiking even more enjoyable, as fall leaves give way to better views. Save time after the hike for lunch at Rugby’s Harrow Road Cafe.

We meet at 10:00 AM Eastern in front of the Historic Rugby Visitor Centre.
