First Annual Historic Rugby “Kids Day Out”!

July 15th – 10 a.m.-3 p.m. EST

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. EST

Join local residents and volunteers for a fun filled day made special just for the kids in Historic Rugby. On Saturday, July 15th from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. EST kids will participate in a variety of events, demonstrations and fun!

The morning will kick off with a scavenger hunt hike followed by a old time tin craft and then a sack lunch at our neighborhood primitive playground. While enjoying some time playing and eating lunch, we will have demonstrators on hand that will display and share some history and old time ways of living and also some wonderful games.

This event is for children ages 3-12 and any child 5 and younger must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian for the entirety of the program. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Community Building located behind the Visitors Center. Cost is $10 per child which includes a great handmade craft to take home, sack lunch and of course lots of fun memories!

When making your reservation please notate the lunch option for each child that will be attending. We will have the choice of ham and cheese with sides or a peanut butter and jelly with sides. Water will be provided at no cost throughout the event for attendees.

Visit or stop in the Commissary in Historic Rugby to register for the event! We are excited to have you come spend the day with us!
