2015 Historic Rugby Events for Artists and Crafters

June 13-14; October 3-4; November 27-28

If you’ve seen the 2015 Historic Rugby calendar, you know that we’re planning some changes. After coping with so much bad weather during the annual May festival, we’ve decided to turn that event into a one-day festival of music, dance, and storytelling on May 23.

We’re expanding the June 13-14 Rugby Street Fair from antiques and collectables to include fine quality regional arts and crafts. Please mark these dates, spread the word to your artist and crafter contacts, and plan to help us fill the Schoolhouse, Visitor Centre, Community Building, and the area around Percy Cottage and Kingstone Lisle with demonstration and sales booths on June 13-14. For the new printable application for this specific event, please click on the link: 2015 Rugby Street Fair Booth Application.

We are also expanding the October 3-4 Appalachian Heritage Days into a full two-day showcase for traditional arts and crafts. For the new printable application for this specific event, please click onĀ 2015 Appalachian Heritage Days Booth Application.

Thanksgiving Marketplace will become a two day event, with opportunities to demonstrate and sell your work to Christmas shoppers both Friday, Nov. 27 and Saturday, Nov. 28. A new application for this event will be forthcoming.

Thank you, artists and crafters, for all you contribute to making Rugby a special experience for visitors and residents.
